Countdown to the Tribulation

June 2020
We are in a possible seven year window before the final seven years as God prepares the world for the Tribulation. The Rapture occurs on the 1st of Tishri (September-October) but what year? In this prophecy filled year, here are twenty important events that lead to the Tribulation.

30 AD-2016 History
20 Seven Churches
The Church Age begins on Pentecost ~27-33 AD and ends on Trumpets in ~2020-2030. The Revelation of Jesus Christ was written to seven first-century churches in the province of Asia Minor (Turkey). Prophetically, the churches are seven sequential periods of the Church Age (Revelation 1:11).
19 Four Horses
Revelation 6 describes four horses of the apocalypse. Red is communism, the horse of war. Black is capitalism, the horse of trade. Green is Islam, the horse of Death (false religion). White is apostasy, the horse of conquest. By the middle of the Tribulation, Antichrist merges the political, religious and economic horses into the Beast (Revelation 6:4).
18 Five Trumpets
Revelation 8-9, 11 describe seven trumpets and seven wars. In over a hundred years, there were five wars before the Tribulation: World War I & II, Cold War, Iraq War I & II. God gave Noah 120 years of warning before the flood and gave us 120 years before the end of humanity's rule (Revelation 8:7).
17 Israel Independence Day
On the 5th of Iyar (May 14, 1948) after 2000 years, Israel became a nation. Palestinians refused land and the Arab-Israeli War began. Afterward, Israel controlled 77 percent of territory (Green Line) while Egypt took Gaza and Jordan took Judea and Samaria (West Bank) (Isaiah 66:8).
16 European Union
On May 9, 1950, French foreign minister Robert Schuman proposed to merger French and West German coal and steel under one authority. This lead to the European Coal and Steel Community in 1952, European Economic Community in 1958 and European Union in 1993. Europe leads the world during the Tribulation (Revelation 13:2; Revelation 17:12-13).
15 Jerusalem Reunited
On the 28th of Iyar, Ascension Day (June 7, 1967) during the Six-Day War, Israel captured the Old City including the Temple Mount and reunited Jerusalem. In the future, Jerusalem will be the capital of the world (2 Chronicles 6:6).
14 German Reunification
On November 9, 1989 (1260 + 30), the Berlin Wall fell along with Soviet influence on Eastern Europe. On October 3, 1990 (Tabernacles), East and West Germany were reunited. The wounded head (nation) was healed (Revelation 13:3). Antichrist rules the Beast. See Daniel's Dream.
Recent History
13 Great American Eclipse
After the 2014-2016 Blood Moons, on the 29th of Av-1st of Elul, Teshuvah (August 21, 2017) was the Great American Eclipse. The total solar eclipse passed from Oregon to South Carolina through seven Salem (peace) cities. On October 23, 2023 and April 8, 2024 are two future solar eclipses from Oregon to Texas and Texas to Maine (Luke 21:25).
12 Trump Peace Plan
On the 1st of Elul during Teshuvah (August 22, 2017), Senior Advisor Jared Kushner and group of US diplomats traveled to the Middle East to write the Deal of the Century. The economic plan was released on June 22, 2019. The political portion was released on January 28, 2020 (Zechariah 2:1-2, Revelation 11:1-2). See Covenant.
11 Revelation 12 Sign
In 2017, there was a literal sign of a woman in the sky. The Sun covers the constellation Virgo (Virgin) and the Moon was under her feet. Nine stars of Leo (Lion) plus "wandering stars" Mercury, Venus and Mars were the crown of twelve stars. The sign of the woman and child was fulfilled on September 23, 2017 (1st-2nd of Tishri) (Revelation 12:1-2). From November 20, 2016 to September 9, 2017, king planet Jupiter traveled forward and back through the womb of Virgo for nine months. The sign of the dragon was meteor showers in December 2020 (Revelation 12:3-4).
10 US Recognizes Jerusalem
On December 6, 2017, the United States was the first country to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The embassy moved to Jerusalem on May 14, 2018 on the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel and 51st anniversary of Jerusalem united under Israeli control (Zechariah 8:7-8).
9 Hong Kong Protests
On March 15, 2019, Hong Kong government proposed to extradite criminals to mainland China. This breaks China's 1997 promise of "One China, two systems" and territorial independence. Massive crowds protested the bill and loss of personal liberty. On May 28, 2020, China approved a national security bill bypassing Hong Kong's government (Revelation 9:13-14, 15-16).
8 Plague of Locusts
A massive plague of locusts started June 2019 and continues into 2021 destroying the regional food supply. The swarm covered over twenty countries from Congo to India. (2 Chronicles 7:13-14).
7 Coronavirus Pandemic - China
On November 17, 2019, the Coronavirus outbreak allegedly began with one then a cluster of mysterious pneumonia in Wuhan, China. In January, 2020, a new coronavirus was identified. Cover-up by Wuhan and Hubei authorities failed to contain the outbreak in the early stage and the virus spread to all provinces of China. By March 2020, 750 million Chinese were quarantined. China suppressed the extent of outbreak and lied about virus orgin, reported cases and deaths (Luke 21:10-11).

6 Trump Peace Plan
On January 28, 2020, the Trump Peace Plan was revealed. Israel and Palestine will divide the land into separate nations without uprooting people. On the same day, an ominous 7.7 earthquake in the Caribbean shook South Florida. This covenant that the Antichrist confirms leads to the fall of the United States, the Tribulation and Armageddon (Daniel 9:27, Joel 3:2).
5 United Kingdom Brexit
On June 23, 2016, the United Kingdom voted to exit the European Union. After three prime ministers and two elections, parliament finally agreed to leave on January 31, 2020. By December 2020, they negotiated trade, fishing and transportation. However, the British lion, Russian bear and Germany leopard will lead during the Tribulation (Revelation 13:2). 4 Coronavirus Pandemic - World
In December 2019, coronavirus began spreading from China into Asia, Europe and United States. By the end of January 2020, first cases were officially reported. Parts of Lombardy in Italy were locked down February 22. On February 24, the virus was no longer contained and the stock markets began to crash. Then on March 8, Saudi Arabia started an oil price war with Russia. By March 8-9, Italy was the first country to lockdown and Spain, France and United Kingdom followed. Cases peaked in April and July 2020, January and August 2021, pushing hospitals to the limit.
Two major virus strains hit the United States. The west coast type came directly from China but the stronger east coast type came from China through Europe to New York. From March 15 to April 4, forty-two states issued stay at home orders closing most businesses and churches. In April, New York metro area was hardest hit and experts predicted the virus would be just as severe throughout the nation. However more rural red states were less affected. For example, Texas is 2nd and Florida is 3rd in population but as of September 2021, 22th and 17th in deaths per population. The United States is first in cases but within European Union numbers. Although schools were closed, 80 percent of all deaths are seniors and a third occurred in nursing homes. Since December, vaccines slowed cases and death. However, COVID is a global disease that can launch new variants for years to come (Matthew 24:7-8).
3 Israel Election
From April 2019 to December 2022, the Israeli parliament was stuck by their broken election system. March 2021 was the fourth election with thirty-nine parties running and thirteen winning seats. Leftist Yair Lapid and religious right Naftali Bennett formed an anti-Benjamin Netanyahu coalition. After the fifth election in November 2023, Netanyahu returned in December 2022 (Jeremiah 23:5-6).

2 Israel and the Covenant
After the 2023 Israel War, the top issue for the world is the implication of the two-state solution. This includes the final borders of Israel, the status of Jerusalem and sharing the Temple Mount (Revelation 11:1-2). In the fall of 20?? after the Rapture, the Antichrist confirms the Covenant (Daniel 9:29). Dividing Israel for a Palestinian state causes the fall of the United States, the Tribulation and Armageddon (Zechariah 12:2, Joel 3:2). See Road to the Rapture.
1 China: World War III - 6th Trumpet
China is the biggest obstical to world government. They plan to defeat the United States to become the sole superpower and rule the world. In the future while US citizens are divided over peace and safety, politics has devastated political discourse, the economy is over burdened by inflation, interest rates and debt and the military is distracted by Ukraine and Israel, China takes advantage of the situation by crossing the Euphrates River and attempts to control oil in the Middle East (Revelation 9:14-16). By the middle of the Tribulation, China, India and United States are devastated so Europe gives power to Antichrist. (Revelation 17:12-13).
0 Possible Dates
The Tribulation is about to begin so it is possible to see the beginnings of World War III. Hundreds of millions of people disappear as God grabs the Church up just in time before pouring down judgment. July to October are a few options for a start date if God's timing follows this earlier prophetic filled year. See Calendar, Jewish Calendar.

- 17th of Tammuz (July) On the day of the Golden Calf, the Babylonians and Romans breach the walls of Jerusalem. The United States was born on this day (Exodus 32:19).
- 9th of Av (July-August). On Kadesh Barnea, Israel refused to go into the Promised Land, the Babylonians and Romans start destroying the Jewish temples, nations persecuted the Jews, World War I and Iraq War I start. Possible beginning dates for World War III and Armageddon seven years later (Numbers 13:30-31).
- Teshuvah (August-October) After breaking the tablets, Moses spends a second forty days on Mt. Sinai (Exodus 34:1). The 1st of Elul was the bombing of Nagasaki. World War II begins and ends in Elul. On the 23rd of Elul, US President William McKinley was assassinated and 9/11.
- Trumpets (September-October) Leviticus 23 says this is the next feast day to be fulfilled. It is the Rapture Day but what year? On the Jewish new year 120 years ago, Theodore Roosevelt became US president (Leviticus 23:24-25, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
- Atonement (September-October) This is a possible day for the confirmation of the Covenant and beginning of the Tribulation. In 1973, the Yom Kippur War began. Seven years later, Armageddon ends with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. (Zechariah 12:10, Matthew 24:29-30).
- Tabernacles (September-October) This week-long celebration is the coronation of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, God with us (Zechariah 14:16, Revelation 21:3). See Fall Feasts.
