About this time of year, we remember what happened in the previous year and look forward to the new year. A part of remembering the past year is to learn from our successes and failures. Then we change priorities, make improvements and plan for success in the coming year.

The year 2019 was a year of unprecedented crisis. The causes were rooted in conflicts between globalists vs nationalists, eastern vs western alliance, government vs the people. September 2019 began a possible seven year window before the final seven years as God prepares the world for the Tribulation.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision (Psalm 2:1-4).

United States

After Russian, China and other nations tried to influence the 2016 elections, the Democrats accused Donald Trump of colluding with Russia. The Democrats, swamp and fake news media try to influence the 2016, 2018 and 2020 elections through false accusations of Trump being a Russian spy, the Muller investigation and the US House impeachment of Donald Trump. The Democrats may have the opportunity to impeach Trump for the next five years. If the Rapture occurs before January 2021, Nancy Pelosi may become president. See 2016 Election.

European Union

In the United Kingdom, citizens voted to Brexit from the European Union June 2016. However, parliament failed to do the will of the people. Teresa May resigned and Boris Johnson became Prime Minister. In December 2019, the people overwhelmingly voted Conservative and Brexit is now on track for 2020. The United Kingdom is the first country to exit the EU taking thirteen percent the population. However, the British lion, Russian bear and German leopard will reunite during the Tribulation. The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (Revelation 13:2).

In France, the yellow vest protests started with a rise in fuel taxes on the working middle class in November 2018. The populist movement grew into weekly protests across the country. President Emmanuel Macron proposed the European Intervention Initiative. In 2018, the defense force started with ten and now has fourteen western European countries. See World Government.

Middle East

Despite elections in April and September 2019, Israel has been at an electoral impasse. Nine political parties won seats in parliament but neither Benjamin Netanyahu nor Benjamin Gantz formed a majority coalition. The third election is March 2, 2020.

In May 2018, the United States withdrew from the Iran Nuclear Deal and implemented sanctions. See Iran-Israel War and Nuclear Iran. In June 2019, Iran retaliated by attacking ships in the Persian Gulf and shooting down US drones. Economic hardship resulted in protests and strikes. In September 2019, Iran attacked Saudi Arabia oil fields and cut oil production in half but only for a few weeks.

The United States withdrew from Syria October 2019. Turkey attacked the Kurds and moved closer to Russia and Iran. In the near future, Russia leads Iran, Libya and Turkey in a war against Israel. The Russian-Radical Islam invasion of Israel occurs during the middle of the Tribulation.

All of this leads to seven years of Tribulation and three major wars. World War III is the 6th Trumpet between China, the United States and India (Revelation 9:13-21). World War IV is Gog and Magog when Russia and radical Islam (Iran, Turkey, Libya) attack Israel (Ezekiel 38:3-4, 5-6, 8). World War V is Armageddon (Revelation 16:16). During the last 3½ years, Satan rules through the Antichrist and False Prophet who controls the economy (Revelation 13). During that time, war moves to Israel and Jerusalem. The Tribulation ends with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be (Matthew 24:21).

Jesus Christ was born ~7-1 BC and died ~27-33 AD, Trumpets in September 2019 begins a possible seven year window before the final seven years of Tribulation. Christians must be ready, reap the harvest and watch for the Lord's return at the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 5:4-6).

When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh (Luke 21:28).
