2026 Resurrection
There is temporary life as we know it and eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (1 Corinthians 15:21-22). Everyone dies except Enoch, Elijah and a future Rapture. Death is defeated by the cross. Our confidence in God is that the dead in Christ will resurrect to new life and the alive in Christ will be caught up or raptured without dying so all believers will be with Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18). Scripture describes various resurrections and raptures in the Bible. Along the way, prophets see visions of heaven and people come back to life. Eternal life with God is our blessed hope. (Titus 2:13).

As a butterfly has a metamorphosis from caterpillar to cocoon to flight, Christians transform from mortal to immortal. Believers are given the Spirit at salvation and rescued from impending disaster for a world of unbelievers. Enoch and Elijah give hope for us in the Church living in the end of the End Times.

The Gospel message is Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again. God gave His Son so believers accept His pardon. Jesus Christ reveals His plan to the disciples and teaches the resurrection. The apostles begin the Church Age with the Gospel and Holy Spirit. We proclaim the good news to the end. As He has risen, we too will rise. Come Lord Jesus!

Elijah and Elisha reestablish the Law during the divided kingdom. Jesus Christ and the apostles heal the sick and raise the dead to begin the new covenant of grace.

First days are 4000 years from Adam to Christ. The last days or End Times are 3000 years (Church Age, Tribulation, Millennium). At the end of the End Times, three countries come back from the dead to life. In God's plan, all nations fall and Jesus Christ reigns.

But Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of a new civil year. The shofar sounds one hundred times during the Jewish service. Feast of Trumpets is the Rapture day.
