In 2020, thirty two major candidates ran for president. Despite such a diverse group of participants, we get two men in their seventies. A forty-eight year insider attempts to unseat the unconventional businessman for president. Except this crazy year has the coronavirus from China resulting in stay at home orders, businesses closed, roller coaster economy, churches persecuted and massive overreach of state governors. Add to that Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, New York and other major cities rioting anarchists appeased by incompetent mayors. Then there is prophecy. If it is this bad closing church buildings, imagine when Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit are taken away before the Tribulation.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin [Antichrist] be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he [Holy Spirit] who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, 7).
God gave to Noah and the Church 120 years of warning before judgment began. On September 6, 1901 (23rd of
Elul, 9/11), President William McKinley was assassinated. Theodore Roosevelt started the modern era on September 14, 1901 (1st of
Tishri,
Rosh Hashanah). Four
horses are on the run and five
trumpets have sounded. This matches Laodicea, the seventh and last period of the
Church Age described in Revelation 2-3.
The Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years (
Genesis 6:7).
I know your works [Laodicean church], that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth (Revelation 3:15-16).
This election season has been full of prophecy. Donald Trump moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to
Jerusalem, recognized Israel's right to the
Golan Heights and proposed the Israel-Palestine
peace plan. Siding with Sunni Muslims, the United States withdrew from the
Iran nuclear agreement. Since the Palestinians refused to negotiate, Israel signed recognition agreements with Bahrain and United Arab Emirates with possibly other Arab countries to follow.
