Russia-Ukraine War Continued
On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, escalating the war. What side are we on? The Russian bear is back to its old Soviet ways. They fight to keep their oil and gas monopoly with the EU. The globalists (German, United Kingdom, United States) use Ukraine as a pawn. See
Daniel's Dream. Since Ukraine's independence, their government has been corrupt and now their people suffer from Russian aggression while western countries' energy imports and weapon exports fund both sides of the war.
The beast [European Union] which I saw was like a leopard [Germany], and his feet were of a bear [Russia], and his mouth of a lion [United Kingdom]. And I saw one of his [seven] heads [or nations-Germany] as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast (
Revelation 13:2-3).
The fallout of the war is an energy and food crisis. Russia supplies ~45 percent of EU, ~55 percent of Germany and ~8 percent of US oil and natural gas imports but Russian exports to the EU dropped ~80 percent. Climate change supporters use this crisis to rid the world of fossil fuels. Ukraine is 14th in energy reserves and supplies ~10-15 percent of wheat, corn and barley which caused prices to rise and potential famine in poorer countries.
How does this tug of war end? The Bible tells us that the Russian bear will unite with the United Kingdom lion and the German leopard (
Revelation 13:2-3). Georgia and Ukraine are previews of Israel's war. Israel is exporting natural gas to the EU, which requires a Russian response. When
Antichrist begins his rule,
Russia joins with a radical Islamic and usurps his authority by attacking Israel (Ezekiel 37-38). See
Ukraine: EU vs Russia.
At the time of the end shall the king of the south [Radical Islam] push at him [Antichrist]: and the king of the north [Russia] shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter into the glorious land [Israel], and many countries shall be overthrown. (
Daniel 11:40, 41).
There is better way. Jesus said, My kingdom is not of this world (
Joshua 5:13-15, John 18:36). At the end of the
Tribulation, all nations fall and Jesus Christ reigns (
Matthew 25:31-32).
