Trump Gazalago

On February 4, 2025, President Donald Trump proposed a grand plan to transform the 25-mile Gaza Strip from a war zone into a modern, prosperous Mediterranean resort called "the "Riveria of the Middle East" or Gazalago. As an example, Dubai, United Arab Emirates is an oasis in the desert. The United States would oversee the project and Middle East countries would supply funding. Egypt and Jordan would accept two million refugees. Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Egypt already have the most Palestine refugees. An AI satire video shows Trump Gaza as a resort extravagant as Dubai but Daniel 3 warns about golden statues.

Although Middle East countries agree to rebuilding, they rejected the plan. In 1948, the Palestinians had the opportunity to have a nation but refused. Since 1917, Arabs use them as pawns, portraying them as victims of Israel. Palestinians have been radicalized by the PLO and Hamas. Because of past insurrections, host countries refuse additional refugees. The other problem is relocating two million people out of Gaza while cleaning up after the war and rebuilding the community. Palestinians do not trust they would return and choose living in the destruction Hamas caused than having peace with Israel.

I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:3).

On February 21, 2025, Arab leaders of Egypt, Jordan and the Arabian Peninsula countered Trump's proposal. The plan costing 53 billion would be managed by the Palestine Authority. It would keep people in Gaza by setting up temporary housing. Arab countries will not fund the project because of the probability of a return to war. Israel rejected the plan because the Palestine Authority has a history of financial mismanagement. Neither plan replaces Hamas terrorists governing Gaza as the war drags on.

Three Wars That End All Wars

The Tribulation begins when Antichrist confirms a covenant with many for seven years. This occurs in September/October year 1, month 1 on Atonement. The clock starts ticking down seven years until the Second Coming on Atonement (Revelation 12:12). Israel is at peace while World War III begins. The rest of the world prepares for Antichrist's rule of the Beast (world government).

He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease… (Daniel 9:27).

In April, Year 3, Month 7, Antichrist takes power. Those in Judea must flee (Matthew 24:15). The 2023 Israel War is a prelude of World War IV as Russia and radical Islamic nations (Iran, Libya, Turkey) attack Israel (Ezekiel 38). Toward the end of year 7, all nations unite against Israel and gather at Armageddon for World War V. At the Second Coming, Jesus Christ returns, redeems the Jews, rescues the Tribulation Saints and judges the nations.

March 2025

On Saturday, October 7, 2023 (22rd of Tishri, Shemini Atzeret, 8th Day of the Assembly), Hamas brutally targeted civilians of Israel and other nations, shot 6000+ missiles, massacred over 1,400, raped women and took 240+ hostages. This was the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) is a terrorist organization that governs the Palestine territory in Gaza but used by Iran to fight proxy wars with Israel. In February 2025, war takes a turn from despair to hope for the future.

If you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which you let remain of them shall be [barbs] in your eyes and thorns in your side, and shall vex you in the land wherein you dwell (Numbers 33:55).
 
By the summer and fall of 2024, Israel kept on their successful attacks weakening Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The United States played both sides of the war supporting Israel and Iran. After the failed withdrawal from Afghanistan, Iran Nuclear Deal, war in Ukraine and pushing a two-state solution, foreign policy shows weakness to our allies and enemies. In April 2024, President Biden agreed to funding for Israel's war against Iranian backed terrorists but in May threatened to halt arms shipments if Israel follows their military goals. From April to June, Palestinian terrorist sympathizers on college campuses spewed antisemitism, threatened Jewish students and destroyed campus property. The war continues as fifty-eight Israelis are still hostages in Gaza.

[Your enemies] have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you. That men may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the most are the most high over all the earth (Psalm 83:4-5, 18).

Syria Civil War

With Iran and the proxies weakened and Russia focused on Ukraine, the fourteen-year Syria civil war ended quickly. From November 27-December 8, Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham with support from Turkey marched south through Syria toward Damascus. Assad's Shia Islamist dictatorship was replaced by Islamic State terrorists. The 2024 events left Russia and Iran weaker while Israel grew stronger. The new Syrian regime began persecuting religious minorities. Isaiah prophesied that Damascus will be destroyed.

2025 Ceasefire

After the 2024 US election, political winds change. The ceasefire negotiated by Egypt, Qatar and United States propose three phases. First, release all Israeli hostages held in Gaza for hundreds of Palestinians, Israel opens borders for humanitarian aid and negotiations continue for the end to war. Then both agree to a permanent cease fire and Israel would withdraw from Gaza. A final reconstruction phase would last 5-7 years. After the November 2024 election, President-elect Donald Trump pushes for an end to war. The temporary ceasefire began on January 19 that lasted fifty-eight days as 33 hostages were released to Israel and 1900 prisoners released to Palestine. Negotiations failed as Israel and Hamas disagreed on how to end the war. On March 18, Israel launched airstrikes on Gaza ending the ceasefire.
