It is strange that of the twenty-three leading presidential candidates, the political parties select these two nominees. 2016 was a presidential election of many firsts. This was the first time a woman and businessman were nominated from a major party. Another important first of 2016 is that both candidates' disapproval rating hovered around sixty percent all year.

The Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years (Genesis 6:7).

God gave to Noah and the Church 120 years of warning before judgment began. On September 6, 1901 (23rd of Elul, 9/11), President William McKinley was assassinated. Theodore Roosevelt became president on September 14, 1901 (1st of Tishri, Trumpets). Four horses are on the run. Five of seven trumpets have sounded. This matches Laodicea, the seventh and last period of the Church Age described in Revelation 2-3.

I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth (Revelation 3:15-16).

In 2008, Barak Obama was the first African-American president and first to attend school in a Muslim country. He has the social policy of Lyndon Johnson, the foreign policy of Jimmy Carter and the arrogance of Bill Clinton. The president's greatest achievements were the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), doubling the national debt, the Islamic State (ISIS) and the Iran Nuclear Agreement. Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama had congressional majorities in the US House and Senate and were reelected but lost those majorities and the White House because of broken promises.

The Bible describes two of the most important issues: the seven year covenant with Israel and conflict between the United States and China. If understanding the time, Jesus Christ was born in 7-1 BC and redeemed the world in 27-33 AD. It is time to elect the president that prepares America and the world and may bring us into the Tribulation. Therefore, the next president will have the economic, trade and foreign policies that are ineffective to stop the war with China. God will not bless America until America blesses God. He will bring judgment to America and the world when America divides Israel.

Just changing political parties, economic policy or society's morality will not fix the problem. America's economic crisis is a direct result of our rejection of God. That results in broken families, powerless churches, moral weakness and judgment from God. Only faithful Christians working together in strong churches have the Holy Spirit's power to change our communities and our nation. The Laodicean Church must wake up and work with God.

Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:11-12).
