Invitation from Jesus
God loves you and He gave His Son for a relationship with you.

Invitation from Jesus

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became a man, lived without sin and sacrificed Himself because He loves you and wants the best for you.

You are invited into a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:6-8).

Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).

1. Everyone is a sinner.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

2. The result of sin is death.

For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

3. God loves us and gave us His Son.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

4. Jesus Christ gives us eternal life.

But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

5. While we were sinners, Christ died for us.

God commended his love toward us, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

6. Salvation is not by works but by God's mercy.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us (Titus 3:5).

7. Confess and believe.

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

8. Call on Jesus Christ to be saved.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).

Would you like to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior? Then say a simple prayer to God. Just saying words will not save you. Believing in Jesus Christ and His work of salvation at the cross will save you.

God, I have sinned against You and deserve punishment. I believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross in my place for my sins. Today, I trust in Jesus Christ and His free gift of salvation. I accept God's love, mercy and grace and know He has forgiven all my sins. Now Jesus Christ is my Savior and I make Him Lord of my life.

After you accept Jesus Christ, follow up on your new relationship with God. 1) Read the Bible, starting with the Gospels then the New Testament. 2) Pray by talking with God. 3) Make a public profession of your faith through baptism. 4) Join with other Christians in a local Bible-believing church. There you can learn more about God and use your talents and gifts to minister to other people.

9. Now you are the child of God.

Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the [children] of God (1 John 3:1).
