Many fulfilled prophecies tell us we are at the end of the End Times. Since we are so near to the end of the
Church Age, one important prophecy is unfulfilled. The treaty between Israel and Palestine is required before the
Tribulation begins. How will
World Superpowers (European Union, Russia, United Nations, United States) divide the land and fulfill the covenant?
He [Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with many for one seven [years]: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the [Jewish] sacrifice and the offerings to cease (
Daniel 9:27).
To have peace in the Middle East, there must be peace between Israel and Palestine. Ever since 1948, the nation of Israel has no defined borders recognized by other nations. Israel, the children of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob and Palestine, the children of Abraham through Ishmael and Esau, claim the land. The choice for peace is between God's plan and man's plan.
God's Plan: One-State Solution - Bless Israel
The One State Solution is a proposal for Israel to govern the whole area of Israel including Gaza, Judea and Samaria (West Bank). God promised Abraham a land, a nation and spiritual blessing for all people. The land extends from the Nile to the Euphrates that covers Israel and parts of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. After the Ottoman Turks lost
World War I, the British divided land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Because Israel accepts the 1947
United Nations Partition Plan and Palestine did not, a one-state solution has been in effect since 1948. Israel rules the land while the Palestine Authority has local control over Judea and Samaria. Since 2006, Hamas controls Gaza.
In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates (
Genesis 15:18).
Man's Plan: Two-State Solution - Curse Israel and Tribulation
In 1917, the British
Balfour Declaration promised a home for the Jewish people with rights for others. After
World War I, Allied Powers divide the Ottoman territory between Turkey, France and United Kingdom. France controlled Lebanon and Syria while the British controlled Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine. Between World Wars, Palestinians riot against Jews and increased immigration into the territory. In 1937, the
Peel Commission proposes the first two-state solution, giving 17 percent (Northwest coast, Galilee) to Israel, 75 percent (Judea, Samaria, Negev) to Jordan with the Jerusalem area decided later. Israel accepts without agreeing to borders but Palestinians reject the plan. At the
Bloudan Conference, Arab leaders refuse both the partition and a Jewish state in Palestine, claiming all of Palestine.
The British government said "the political, administrative and financial difficulties involved in the proposal to create independent Arab and Jewish States inside Palestine are so great that this solution of the problem is impracticable."

Woodhead Commission, Palestine Partition Commission for the Peel Commission, 1938
In 1947 after
World War II and the
Holocaust, the
UN Partition Plan gives 56 percent to Israel which is half desert and 43 percent to Palestine with Jerusalem being an international city. Israelis reluctantly accept and declared
independence on May 15, 1948. Palestinians refuse and the
Arab-Israeli War begins. Once again, another peace treaty fails and the victor writes the boundries (
Psalm 83:4).
Personally I hope the Jews do not force us into this war because it will be a war of elimination and it will be a dangerous massacre which history will record similarly to the Mongol massacre or the wars of the Crusades. We will sweep them [the Jews] into the sea.
----Azzam Pasha, General Secretary of the Arab League, October 1947
In that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it (
Zechariah 12:3).
The 1949
Armistice draws the Green Line, known as the pre-1967 borders. After the war, Israel controlled 78 percent, the size of New Jersey. Arabs not Palestians control 22 percent, the size of Delaware. Egypt occupies Gaza and Jordan occupies Judea and Samaria (West Bank of Jordan). A two-state solution has been the goal of negotiators for eighty years but long term peace has proven impossible Lasting peace is still out of reach.
Government Leaders on the Two-State Solution
I support whatever solution we can do to get peace. There are other ideas other than two-state, but I support whatever is necessary to get not just peace, [but] a lasting peace.
----US President-elect Donald Trump, December 12, 2024
Implementing the two-state solution is the best solution to break the cycle of conflict and suffering and enforce a new reality in which the entire region, including Israel, enjoys security and coexistence.
----Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi minister of foreign affairs, September 26, 2024
Achieving just peace on the basis of the two-state solution is the way to ensure regional stability.
----King Abdullah II of Jordan, February 11, 2025
I encourage member states to go beyond affirmations and to think creatively about the concrete steps they will take to support a viable two-state solution before it is too late.
----UN Secretary-General António Guterres, April 29, 2025
Linsey Davis: Why not a two-state solution?
Naftali Bennett: Not with people who want to kill you. Well, what we've learned over the past 30 years is every time we gave the Palestinians a piece of land, instead of building it into a beautiful Singapore, they turned it into a terror state and began killing Israelis.
----Naftali Bennett, former Israeli Prime Minister interview with ABC News, September 4, 2024
The Knesset of Israel firmly opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state west of Jordan. The establishment of a Palestinian state in the heart of the Land of Israel will pose an existential danger to the State of Israel and its citizens, perpetuate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and destabilize the region.
