Israel: Peace
From April 2019 to June 2021, the Israeli parliament was stuck by their broken election system. March 2021 was the fourth election with thirty-nine parties running and thirteen winning seats. Eventually, leftist Yair Lapid and religious right Naftali Bennett formed an anti-Benjamin Netanyahu coalition. Bennett is prime minister until August 2023 and then Lapid leads (
Jeremiah 23:5-6).
The top issue in 2020 is the implication of the Trump
peace plan revealed January 28, 2020 with corresponding 7.7 Caribbean earthquake shaking South Florida. In July 2020, Israel planned to annex a third of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and two-thirds are reserved for a future Palestinian state. In September 2020, annexation was delayed but Trump makes peace with a few (Bahrain. United Arab Emirates). After the
Rapture, the covenant is confirmed in the fall. When Antichrist makes peace with many, Israel will have peace and safety for a short time.
The 5th of
Iyar (April 28-29) was the 72nd anniversary of Israel's
Independence Day. The 28th of
Iyar (May 21-22) is the 53rd anniversary of the reunification of
Jerusalem. Of all the nations, Israel is the least likely country to be superpower but Jesus Christ appears at the
Second Coming. Add seven years of
Tribulation and we are at seventy-nine years. Come, Lord Jesus.
Learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh: So likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled (
Matthew 24:32-34).
