The Feast of Weeks is a prophecy fulfilled at Pentecost. This feast is for the Jewish and Gentile Church. On the day God gave the Law to Israel, God gave the Holy Spirit to the Church. Because of God's great salvation, we are no longer under the Law but under grace. Christians were given the Savior that fulfills the law and were given the Holy Spirit to teach all things, empower us to live the Christian life and spread the Gospel. The Church starts at Pentecost and ends at the
Rapture.
When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (
Acts 2:1-4).
The Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (
John 14:26).
